Watson vs Selwood

Good poll this one, tough call. I've gone Selwood purely as he has made a bigger impact than Watson has. Everyone says that he had it easy playing in the Geelong side of the last few years, but make no mistake he wasn't a passenger in those sides, like say Des Hedland was at Brisbane racking up easy stats, he was a key member of a very very good side. He actually won games for Geelong and was just as important a part of the midfield as ablett, bartel and Corey.

Looking at the weekend though, Watson seems to have again taken his game to another level and if he can continue to hit the scoreboard, could have an advantage over selwood.

Who says Geelong will slide. They may do a Sydney. I guess winning the best and fairest in a dominant side as well as the rising star is worthless. Undeserved hype? Selwood's a gun, dominant team or not.

I think Watson is better at the moment, FWIW, but there's no need to go over the top on Selwood in making that point.
