firstly eagles supporters are the ones who call it a grandfinal(realy its round 6)

might as well go for draft picks because that was worse than the StKilda game for me.

i don't know how many times i have to repeat myself, but just giving in the season and playing for draft picks is far from a garuanteed formula for sucess - so far this decade st kilda, fremantle, richmond, bulldogs and carlton have had a ****en heap of top 5 draft picks for how much success??

staying competitive, winning as many games as we can is the most important thing for the young guys. a losing mentality is very tough to shake.

and as for the draft picks, we've shown time and time again our recruiting staff is more than capable of picking up quality footballers with mid range picks.

i'm not gonna bother doing it now, but i reckon we've had far more success with picks 11-20 than we've had with 1-10 over the past 10 years.

even as recently as the 2007 draft, we picked Masten (3) and Ebert (13), notte (20) and selwood (22).... there's really nothing seperating all four of them for mine in terms of potential ability. i think masto, ebes and scooter will all be valuable contributors for us for a long period. notte likewise provided he can get some bulk into his frame.

Hansen out is a must...Kennedy is shitloads better then Hansen and deserves the chance to be in the side and for a long period.

Staker was crap again...Enoughs enough send him to the WAFL for a few weeks atleast.

I still rate Jones but hes been dissapointing this season and a spell in the WAFL will do him good - Will get his touch back and come back better for it.

Hunter to make way as he was innacurate again and didnt provide much, and i still think his shoulder is troubling him too.

Id say Hansen and Hunter may get the chop, hunters not 100% anyway

Kennendy and Schofield should get the call up with swift not to far behind
