Adelaide recruited the wrong James. Roger James being 50 times better then Brett James.

Brett James was an under-rated player who played some great games for the Crows, including being a member of 2 premiership sides. Not a dud by any means & certainly Roger is nowhere near 50 times better.

For the Crows, Ricky O'Loughlin is the obvious choice, with Aaron Keating not far behind.

Anthony Harvey (although talented, he tried to keep pace with Roberts fitness regime and kept getting himself injured, I don't think too many could keep pace with Banger 10 years ago, or even 5 years ago)

David Kernahan
cockatoo Collins cousins and brothers (all talented, but I think suffered in the city, I think some ran around with the dees and the bummers for a while)

I reckon David Kernahan, whilst not a champion like Steve, was a handy player for the Blues. Was a solid defender once moved off the wing. Held down full-back for a while, even though under-sized.

Adelaide - Andrew Jarman, although they eventually got Darren too

Both Jarmans were great players. Unfortanately, should have had both fron day 1.

Played for Collingwood in the 80's . Not to be confused with Murray Wrensted who will be remembered as a choker in finals for Collingwood.

I have to disagree on both points.

(1) Matera NEVER played for Collingwood.
(2) Wrensted's rep a choker came from one game with WCE where he missed a sitter that allowed melbourne to pinch a final in 1988. Played nearly every game for the Pies in 1989 but got bugger all in 1990 before disappearing.
