Spot on re our use of the footy. Direct one week, via Perth the next. Grant would be leading our b&f, but Arch has been good.

Well done today. Not impressive, but it had something to do with the surface and the opposition. You have a lot of weapons that can kick you a winning score and will have a genuine crack at it this year with some luck.

we played pretty well. average first n last with a decent 2nd quarter. if it wasnt for the third quarter breaking it open then it would have been much closer

roos just needa work out their forward line structure. jones looks like a hard worker and with good delivery, sav can do some damage. dun rate thompson though

Both teams missed oppurtunites to really break away in the first half. The Demons (well, Russell Robertson to be exact) changed this in the 3rd quarter, slamming on 4 goals, and virtually winning the game for the Demons.

It was good to see that Neitz, Miller, Holland and Yze could be restricted to a total of 1 goal between them all, yet we still managed to kick 16/17 goals.
