I would like to see Jack boot a bag almost every game, but Dimma had to have him play up to ground :(

he enjoys playing at CHF though, even if they wanted him back at FF i don't think he would do it without a fight haha

Great effort from Jack. It's such a shame that his prime coincided with the "Ross Lyon seagulls scrapping over a bag of chips tactics" era. His goal tallies of 62, 65, 58, 61 and 54 only look modest compared to past greats but they are every bit as good as 70-80 odd in another era. Anyway, he's in very elite company.

1. Titus
2. Richardson
3. Bartlett
4. Roach
5. Harris
6. Riewoldt
7. Dyer
8. Hart
9. Poulter
10. Weightman

I don't know much about Ray Poulter, but the rest of those guys are absolute superstars.

I just want make special mention of Dick Harris too, because he often gets overlooked when talking about club legends. The guy booted 548 goals in 196 games (over 2.5 a game) playing mostly in the MIDFIELD. He won the equivalent of the Coleman playing as an onballer. Dual premiership player and booted 7 goals in the 1943 grand final win.

Absolute star and historically underrated.

Great effort by Jack. Extremely reliable set shot at goal, considering.

If only he had a bit more support...

Criminally underrated. Absolutely a star at easily top 5 forward in the comp. Should be back at ff too. Hope like hell he reaches 300 and pushes 800 goals. Matured so much the last two years and would to see him be a vocal on field leader. Hes a gem off field too!

only fwd averaging more than 50 goals a season for the past 6 years is it? and yet he's never in the talks about the best going around atm

Every year there's a couple of forwards that bob up and have a year of similar quality to Jack, and they always receive more praise because Jack's, like, really selfish, and like, a massive flog, and stuff.

2011 - it was Cloke, Petrie and Kennedy.
2012 - everyone forgot about Petrie, Cloke and Kennedy and it was all about Tex, Pavlich and and the Tommahawk.
2013 - those 3 were forgotten and it was Jezza Cameron and Twavis again that were clearly better than Jack.
2014 - Jezza and Twavis were crap again, but the Tommahawk was back and Jay Schulz was apparently better now too.
2015 - oh wait, Tommahawk is shit again. Go Jezza and Tex and THE PACKAGE!

The only other key forward that has consistently been on Jack's level is Buddy.

I remember Andrew saying (when his time at Richmond was coming to an end) and he was playing in the VFL in 2007 for Coburg Tigers and in that season Coburg made the Grand Final but lost to the VFL team Geelong (at Princes Park, I was there), and Andrew said there was this young bloke and he referred to Jack and he said this young bloke had talent. Well Jack certainly has done so well. I remember in 2010 when he kicked 78 goals...and won the Coleman, it was a great achievement considering that Jack won the Coleman in a team that finished in the bottom 8, how many Coleman Medal winners have played in a team that finished in the bottom 8 - not many I would of thought, certainly not in recent times...lets say over a 10 year period.

Let's not forget the 78 goals he kicked in 2010 :P

Love you

The only key forward with a higher goal/game average going around is Franklin.

The only key forward with a higher goal assist/game average is - well there isn't one.

I looked at Franklin, Hawkins, Walker, Nick R, Pavlich (as a forward), Josh Kennedy, Petrie, Cloke and a couple of others.

Selfish, inconsistent flog.

It's important that the media and the general public don't let the truth get in the way of a good story though
