I think cross has potential to be more damaging then westy. Crossy is taller and has got a very good over head mark, probably equal best to jono, his only problem is long kicking, which has never been a strength of westy either.
Corss will learn A LOT serving an apprenticeship under westy and if he continues to find the footy the way he does he'll be a star.

I voted West, but not by as much as everyone else seems to think.
Cross has to be our best overhead mark along with Johnno, his commitment and fitness are incredible, and he's fast becoming our best midfielder. He's steadily improving his long kicking, and once he's mastered that I think he will be pretty much complete. Watch out for him, he's going to be a player you just want to go and see.

Isn't it funny to look through the votes and see that "Westy07" voted for Cross.
I voted Cross, because as previously stated, Cross has the ability to be a more complete player than West, in that he is taller, a brilliant overhead mark, and is still quite young. In saying that West is currently better than Cross, but i feel (and hope) Cross could surpass him within the next few years and show the league just how good he is. And to think just a few years ago Cross was struggling to get a touch in the team and could barely kick 30m.

Haha yep.
IMO Cross has gone past West as our number 1 midfielder.
West's still an important part of our side, but Cross is really stepping up again this year.

West and Cross are 2 of the greastest playmakers in the afl they may not kick goals or they might not even kick the ball but they set the play up thats why they are good
