I was at the Monash Uni Union one Friday Night and admittedly had been doing something not entirely legal. I watched a Laurel and Hardy Movie and the moved to the music room where you could choose to listen to one of about half a dozen albums through headphones. I put on a pair of headphones and sat down to listen to music that immediately had me transfixed. I thought my ears were melting. I asked who it was and the DJ pointed to the album cover "Now and Then" by the Carpenters. I'd never heard them before, I became a great fan and bought the album the next day. I just listened to the side that got my attention an hour ago. This is a medley of old greats. Every song seemed to fit. Deadman's Curve transitions perfectly into Johnny Angel. I think Karen does a better job of Johnny Angel than Shelley Fabares did on the original.
