The last few weeks I've been noticing this, and tonight in the Richmond Brisbane game there's been several already (early third quarter).

Is it just me or is there something wrong here?

Boundary umps just out of touch due to the strange season?

Whoever is in charge of the umps should be on top of this, surely.

If it's inexperienced/lower level umps they really should come in 5/10m. In fact they should anyway.

Get more height and arc under the throw which will then encourage rucks to hit the ball over their heads not always forwards.

The throwins arent that shallow. The ruck start their run 30 to 35 metres in.

The odd one goes shallow but not many.
