Yeah I cooked a brisket to have on rolls. Was thinking it was maybe a bit to American for Grand Final day.

Going to try to get to the G at 6 am and line up to get a seat in the MCC as I don't have a ballot ticket. Go home as soon as I get a ticket, hopefully at 8:30 - 9 Am. Sleep and get back in there at around 1:30 pm.

Or I wake up at 9 am and just watch it at my cricket club who have a grand final day function.

The GF is on at such a shit time for WA people to have a BBQ. So we are making up some pizzas tonight that we will chuck in the oven because no one can be stuffed cooking a bbq while the game is on. Then have a BBQ later in the evening.
And beer - when I host a GF party my rule is I get to crack my first one when the first guest arrives.

It's one of the things I dislike about living over here. You can't have the traditional game day build up.
