The current Board, including Gale, have a focus on stability. That’s probably been warranted up until now, given our reputation. We needed to break that coach sacking reputation to be an attractive club for both players and coaches. Could well be a factor in why we struggle to attract free agents.

That said, I would have sacked Hardwick and Dan Richardson last September. Crowds are down. Memberships won’t grow from here. I don’t think they’ll sell much more merch this year. Boards notice a downturn in revenue.

Hardwick has never had to work with pressure from within his four walls (thankfully). It’ll come this year. I reckon he’ll walk at year’s end.

If Dimma gets sacked less than 6 months after he signed a 2 year extension, the whole board ought to resign. Not going to happen this year IMO.

I think the players are backing him so much cos either.

- We are wrong, Dimma is a good coach and we just don't see it..
- Players like him too much as a person to say anything bad about him or force he needs to go.
- Theres a conspiracy going on that if any of them say a bad word about Dimma, they will be sacked... or killed in their sleep.

Last one is highly unlikely.. But just thought i would put it out there

Dan Richardson, Hartley and Jackson need to go first. Coach is not the problem.

Retaining the Three Stooges (above) will not be attractive in luring a new coach, unless it is an untried coach that will have a target on his back for 4 years. Rinse and repeat.

By stability they mean profit and the whole Coach sacking thing at Richmond is a farce. Frawley saw out 5 years and was never sacked, his contract was not renewed. Wallace left halfway through his 5th year and Hardwick is now into year 7.

The current Board has lied to us for 7 years and has done everything it can to put profit above premierships why squeezing everything they can out of their supporter base with promises of rainbows made of candy floss and chocolate rivers that flow in many varieties.

Pretty A or B really...

A...this is just a bad run with injuries, all the other settings are rock solid, no one needs to go, it's just us net fans stewing in our own pot of discontent...lol and wtf do we know anyway.

Or B...we are in a real shithole and we need to get rid of non performers...on and off field...for better versions to be found, hired and developed.

I figure it's more B than A personally. I don't hold any one person responsible as I figure a few have dug the hole we are in. I don't want a martyr or a scapegoat, I just want collective better. And I have no emotional attachment to any of them, they all reach their use by dates...I am only emotionally connected to the RFC. I don't give a rats toss bag about who we fire, as long as they got paid decently while there...have to be ethical...us owners have to want better from our staff!!
