Lateral ligament was torn, not a big deal really in terms of length of time out.. The lateral ligament was the one they obtained from a deceased person.. ACL was the common method, a piece of Walker's own hamstring tendon..

Ah yes, that's right, shouldn't change anything with regards to his expected recovery.

Most people do the lateral as well with a ACL so that is not unusual, also most have some meniscus removed as well how much determines in some way how the knee will be in later life - no meniscus equals bone on bone. My surgeon told me that it was just luck when you can play sport again - as long as you are doing the rehab. Rowey played after 4 mths I asked my surgeon what he did differently to me - he said not much he just got lucky. Usually after six months the risk of stretching the ligament is less so 12 mths it should be ok. Some surgeons will let you play contact sport after 9-10 mths some 12 months very occassionally 4-6mths. Just depends on when you have regained strength in your leg again.

Will we have Jenkins and Lynch back by round 1? If not we are missing our best 3 forwards at the start of the season.

Both expected to be fit for day one of pre season training i read somewhere, unless that has changed? or i just imagined i read it, lol

I hope Tex comes back for Round 1 if not then Round 5-6 we need him badly.

Adrian Peterson - Injured ACL in Dec, comes back 9 months later and over the next 4 months, comes close to setting an NFL record and claims MVP.

Taylor Walker - Will duplicate this, will come back Rd 1, without playing pre-season and will kick 149 goals on the season and win the brownlow.
