Whinge about the umpires

Well I was going to have a really good whinge about the biased umpiring favouring Adelaide, but then those last two frees to Collingwood utterly stopped Adelaide, and they were the worst two decisions of the game. I enjoyed the game, but that part was irritating. It makes me think that bad umpiring isn't so much a conspiracy as just plain incompetence.

The other bit of umpiring I noticed was the way Mcleod doesn't seem to be able to buy a free. I watched the game with my old mum: she's pretty one eyed but even she felt he was getting a raw deal. "Is it because he's black?" she enquired (oblivious to the Ali G reference).

Anyway the Crows are a fearsome bunch on song, and will destroy any side that doensn't take them seriously.

There was a holding the ball decision against McLeod in the second quarter when he didn't even have control of the ball, let alone a chance to get rid of it.

Some of the umpiring decisions were shocking though

I think the crows had by far the better of the bad umpiring decisions just not good enough on the day,
that 2nd quarter is a real worry though just hope we can turn it around before the finals [ yes finals sa paul, have faith]
