Straight, On Ice, Mixed with other drink.... Whatever way you like it..
Do you find Jim Beam too sweet and like kiddies lolly water?

I ussually generalise drinks into bourbon or beer.

But if i really had to choose between these two i would probably say bourbon but only because i have tasted more of it.

I prefer Scotch myself, 12 year Glen Fiddich is my favourite drop I can afford otherwise it's Royal Salute all the way

So Whiskey = Scotch Whisky
