Pendles - no one else plays like him.
The same 28yr old who had his most productive season after all these years?
Pendlebury has been doing what he does since his second season in this league
I have a memory of him so surreal I'm not sure if I just imagined it.
A few years back when he was playing for Geelong, I think it was against North. Anytime he got the ball the North players would all back off, wave their arms & try to shoo him over the boundary.
I don't want to detract from the magnificence that was Kepler, but Knights somehow managed to dislocate his kneecap having a snap at goal last season.

Did you think watching that game, "Hey if GC gets a team in the AFL, GAJ will be the inaugural GC captain, B&F, etc, etc"?Yeah, I remember that game, they corralled him instead of trying to tackle him.
So strong through the hips and moves like no other. Total package.
Totally agree.Does anyone else here realise that "unique" is an absolute word, and hence it is wrong to call someone "more unique" or "very unique"?
If someone is unique then they are one of a kind. Even if out of the 7 billion people on this planet there are only two of a certain type, they are not unique.
Adam Goodes has to be one of the most unique players to ever have played the game. He has played pretty much every position on the field including Ruck.
Looking at it historically...

Didn't he keep sharks as pets? Unique in my book.
Naitanui, anyone?
How many 200cm+ tap ruckmen are ground level tackle and clearance machines who rove packs to snap goals when they aren't taking MOTY contenders?
I bet none of them look like a big palm tree...

Is Ablett Jnr, what he does just isn't repeatable by anyone else in the league.
Such as?
