Who is the WORST kick in the AFL?

My money is on Mark Blake, probably only because I see more of him than players from other teams.

I grimace when he has the ball, and I think Blake himself grimaces.

Kane Tenace. Blake can actually kick quite well when not under pressure. I've seen him spot up players on the lead 40m away with beautiful drop punts. Tenace is just a terrible kick regardless of how much pressure he's under.

I think every team has them. Bob Campbell had one of the worst I've seen on the weekend, but he's usually not that bad. Nothing wrong with guys that struggle to kick, just as long as they know it.
Other bad kicks in history - Darren Gaspar, J.Hay. No wonder they were full backs.

He rarely kicks, often chooses not too, probably doesnt get the ball enough too, but Blake is actually not a BAD kick.

It is tough one but you probably need to separate field kicking from goal kicking as they are different arts.

Dont know about the AFL but at Geelong I would say the best are
Goal: Ling (or any player not playing in the 2008 GF :p)
Field: Bartel is very good, SJ is a ferking freak.

Worst
Field: Tenace, Byrnes
Goal: Shit they are all pretty bad!

For how good Geelong are, and have been, just imagine how much better they could be without wasting shots at goal.

Just imagine how frustrating it is as a supporter! If we had a high conversion rate, we probably would have won not only the GF last year, but possibly even then 2004 PF against the Lions, which would have given us a real shot at the flag against Port.

We could be sitting on three flags this decade already if not for bad conversion (I know, the what if's are always there).
But it just goes to show how frustrating bad conversion is.

If a lot of other teams kicked straight they could have won this flag or that too. Imagine how frustrating it is for those clubs supporters. Inaccuracy = cop out. Losers are losers.

Shannon Watt/Brady Rawlings from North

Dane Swan would be up there
Jake King
Rhyce Shaw
Carrazo
Rhyce Palmer anyone?

If you read my post, I admitted that there are always the 'what ifs', and I agree that bad conversion is bad football.
All I'm saying is that as a supporter of the Cats, while this time (07-09) has been astonishing, it has also come with some frustration because it could have been even better (believe it or not).

I think I'm well within my rights to express any frustration I feel in regards to that. Just as I will respect the rights of those 'other teams' supporters to express their frustration.

I always thought accuracy was going to cost us, esspecially with how our 2 big guys were kicking last year, but this year they've been great.

Rhyce Shaw??? You're joking obviously....

I would of said LRT or Bevan from Sydney had teh question been asked a yr or two ago but their disposal by foot has improved dramatically. Kirk is very unpredicatable off the boot.
