you have to realise what is the piont of getting rid of these kids who have shown something.
its not like we cant keep them

Sam Iles has Ben Davies written all over him. Has he even made the emergency list this year? He seems to have been scrubbed already imo. And the point of getting rid of the kids who have "shown something", and I'd argue that, is that sometimes you just have to make a call on a player who just isn't going to cut the mustard. No point haging on to these blokes for 6-7 years. You need to make a call and then go back to the well. And if it shits you to read the opinions of others, don't read.

If we put another one of those be a good boy contracts or else on him I will be livid.

1stly and I hope this doesn't get me in the poo, but if anyone thinks he stuck to the last alcohol free, curfew contract they are kidding themselves.

2nd by doing that an innocent night with a couple of controlled drinks is an issue because he is contracted to be alcohol free and the whole world knows it.

Those contracts mean jack and just open up potential problems of nothing issues becoming something more sinister. Those contracts are about showing the football world look he is gonig to be a good boy we got him under control.

If club seriously feels he is out of control and unable to handle himself and is going to get into more shit they should get rid of him while he has value rather then him messing up and us getting nothing for him becasue we do something crazy like terminate his contract.

Thats called doing a west coast. And if he does mess up again you would think the AFL would start getting involved, when that happens it fks your club up.

3 power forwards? rocca, brown and cloke will not work.... and if it did without dids there put it down their collective throats we will get a million dollar a year forward who struggles to kick 50 goals....

i prefer the royal samplers notion of 12 clearances to 2 is even better.. our forward line (including dids as a 50/50 midfielder hff) and a prismall, kerr or any decent mid is more than capable... remember we still have one of the best attacks in the league on paper.. but we have one of the worst midfields...

Thomas would never be traded due to his marketability and his X-factor.
Didak is our most elite player.
Fraser, well we don't really have many other great ruck options.
Pendles is in our top 3 - 4 players.

We may as well trade Leon, Cloke, Anthony, Brown, Clarke and all our other great footballers.

Does he have to nominate for the ND, or can he just nominate for the PSD? I've always thought that he'd most likely strike an arrangement with a club and then head there via the PSD. I doubt once he comes to terms with a club that others will step on any toes
