Why is Isles playing VFL 2's

The boy was all hyped up over the pre-season and i looked at the results and saw he kicked a goal for the VFL twos. i used to play against him down here in Tassie and he cracked the Vfl side down here and played the last 5-6 games of the season. It seems strange that with all the Afl training and he would not make it a vfl senior level. Very interested to know how he is travelling.

The 12-10 rule means some AFL listed players end up playing Willy 2nds. We have a full list to choose from so inevitably some players have to play seconds. Iles has been injured also.

There were better players playing vfl 2's for us today than Illes.
He has also just come off an ankle injury.

Some clubs use the 12-10 rule every week, as in "internal rule". I thought we were one of them.

If we used the 12-10 rule then god help those poor VFL 2nds sides who lose atm by 100 points to us

In the Williamstown thread it shows the 2nd's best and goalkickers. Was surprised to see senior listed players like Rusling and Cook in the magoo's. Fair enough with Rusling, coming back from injury this week but didn't cook kick 3 goals last week for the senior's off a HFF?

there's more than 1 Cook at Williamstown. at least 2 and i think there might be 3. Quite certain Ryan played in the seniors
