Scheffler has been coasting all year and still comes close to winning tournaments. Amazing how many times this year he does nothing on Thurs & Fri only to unleash on the weekend. Did same at Augusta

It's the luck of the draw but he did get unlucky with the late-early draw. Strange to think what might have happened if his putt dropped on 17.

Very exciting- geez if you were a LIV player you would want to make sure your pay is up to date. Those effers will have no problems not paying on their way out.

Contract won’t be worth anything if LIV golf was the only entity on that side. Unless PIF is a party to the deal, if LIV dies, the deal dies.

Guess the only hurt(other than missing out on future events) would be if they have started works/capex on the new course?

Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund is on the verge of announcing it will withdraw financial support from LIV Golf, the upstart golf circuit it launched four years ago to compete with the PGA Tour, a person familiar with the matter said Wednesday.

The Saudi league splashed into professional golf in 2022, attracting some of the sport’s biggest stars with contracts that exceeded — by tens of millions of dollars — their career earnings with more established circuits like the American-run PGA Tour.

The move comes as Saudi Arabia’s $1 trillion sovereign wealth fund announced a new five-year strategy on Wednesday, with the fund’s governor saying that it would slow down some of its biggest projects as it focuses on “increasing the efficiency of investments.”

There’s really only a handful who could realistically look to a PGAT return.

Huge mistake/bad luck from Laurie Canter who got all the way to earning his PGAT card only to go back to Liv. He will still have DP status I guess.
