im certain that incident, and the media showing it over and over again is what helped end his career. Can you imagine how much stick you would cop for the rest of your career everywhere you went?

From the Eagles, Andrew McDougall. Barely managed 40 games. Suprised the Bulldogs took him off us. Met him once at hospital where i worked as an orderly. A colleague of mine went into his room at 9am to vacuum and he said its too early for that. My colleague said that she had to stick to her schedule and McDougalls pulled the old "Dont you know who I am?". To which my collleague said "No idea" and started vacuuming

Athas Hrysoulakis kicked 6 goals in one game played 19 games and kicked 16 goals for Collingwood. We then gave him the a.. Richmond picked him up for 0 games.. then Sydney picked him up for 0 games. Apparently he was more interested in dancing on the blocks at the Metro than playing football.

I'll say this. In the history of this great game, there has never been, nor will there ever be a more putrid triple premiership winner than Bradley Hill.

So many great players and legends end their careers with nothing. Then this lucky jib shows up and takes the lot.

Maybe if he wins one more, Martin Pike won't be the shittest to win four of 'em.

He's not even the worst player to pull on a guernsey at Freo. We've had much worse that Suban. Top of my head, I'd nominate Jack Anthony or maybe Sylvia.

Tom Swift... Completely out of his depth at AFL level. Terrible disposal by hand or foot, panicked every time a defender came within 5 metres of him resulting in a hospital pass for a team mate, and always had a overawed expression on his face..
Even the Eagles supporters laughed at the poor guy...

Didn't achieve the 50 game cutoff unfortunately. God awful footballer but heaps of entertainment for opposition supporters watch eagles supporters losing their shit over his antics

nah suban tops the list just an absolutely horrendous footballer 8 years in the afl and hes still averaging 13 touches per game playing in the midfield, slow plodding midget ball butcher just absolutely useless

He's not the greatest but if you truly think he's the worst player you can't have seen much football. Not sure he deserves many more games right now but there are so many worse than him.

My nomination doesn't fit the criteria outlined. However, I thought it worth regurgitating a post I made on the Fitzroy Board in Jan. 2003.

The worst player I ever saw in the Fitzroy guernsey was Gary Cosier, the Test cricketer. He played one season in the rezzies, probably around mid to late 70s. He never played in the ones.

The reason for this was he NEVER got a possession in the rezzies. I never saw him kick or handball the ball during the entire season. The only thing he did well was stand on the mark. He did a lot of that.
