LET'S GO BRANDON
Some of our clash designs - which doubled as away jumpers - were atrocious. Especially because some clot thought we could wear them vs Geelong and North.

What a doozy
I actually liked that jumper
There was a pretty big trend of putting logos across the side of guernseys in the mid to late 2000s. I'm surprised the manufacturers managed to line them up so consistently.
Seeing this inweek theis flesh again is an.eyelesbian opener.... what a shocker, absolute amateur job
This inadvertently might have been the reason John Kennedy Jr didn't win the Norm Smith Medal in 1983. Confusion between he (pictured above, far right) and Colin Robertson. The 80s was a great time for everything except the mullet.
Robertson didnt get the memo. Platten took it WAY too far.

This has probably been mentioned already, but this is, by far, the worst jumper the crows have ever worn.

Worse than anything else. Uses royal blue instead of navy.
holy s**t... auto correct went APESHIT on this one... what an eyelebian...eyelesbian?!
What the heck is going on with those numbers? The old "Our-home-and-clash-guernseys-clash-with-you-so-we-have-to-use-league-annointed-guernseys". And not a design flaw but it would be silly not to mention Adelaide Uni's unique numbering convention.
I'm pretty sure that Uni give everyone their own number, so when they get down to their E/F Grades there are some pretty high numbersWhat the heck is going on with those numbers?
Loved it! What a great example for other clubs to followWhat did you guys think of North Melbourne's Argentine variations?

Hey, there's a design from this board in there! Also, how is the crows '05 heritage Guernsey in there? These guys have no clue.So I did a quick Google search to try and find more photos of the North Melb Argentina jumper, but instead I found one of the worst jumper related articles I have ever seen.

Problem is North didn't even need a lighter jumper, it just took the AFL too long to realise that North in all white was just as effective (shame North had a sook about their shorts). The situtation was the same with Port when we went through a peroid of having shitty away jumpers as we wore those vs North and Geelong. Even Freo wore their clash vs Geelong once or twice.I didn't mind the top one with black pinstripes. The original one with royal pinstripes was awful though.
The stupidest thing is that they wore it against Geelong.
Agreed, but purely on the face of it, the North Melbourne and Carlton examples are perfect clash kits. They in keep with the clubs aesthetic, don't reinvent the wheel and work as a clashProblem is North didn't even need a lighter jumper, it just took the AFL too long to realise that North in all white was just as effective (shame North had a sook about their shorts).
