Interesting appointment, wasnt Mark a past player and on the committee there at Albion?? definatley going in a different direction. Good bloke knew him through cricket. But not sure about his coaching credentials.

I would say an ordinary player at best.
With not much leadership. I believe this is a huge mistake.
A few strange things going on at some clubs.

Coached a side that lacked depth and recruiting power in the RDFL, but had the pleasure of listening to and watching him coach the side as well as some time as part of the Interleague coaching staff, very impressive coach who knows how to deliver his message. Many believe that if he was to coach a team that had the resources to recruit, that he would excel. It looks like now is that moment that these questions would be answered.

That is shit talk.There were 2 applicants apply for the job.One an assistant coach this year and one a former coach of the club.Apparently interviews last week and decision pending.

Jason Clarke to coach north foots
And from what i just heard at the Gardo shops he was told today that he had missed the Colts job so North Footscray have got their man.
If that's true, it's huge for north, thought they had some quality players just not enough of them. Would think Clark wouldn't take a job like this unless he had somethink up his sleeve. Wouldn't be surprised if we here a few names follow. Congratulating north if it's true

Just confirmed aswell. Jason Clark will coach North Foots next year. Good move from north was a gamble but it paid off, should be interesting to hear any player movements now

can anyone confirm if he is playing/coach or just coach? i recall seeing in the paper him kicking a bag this year so maybe he has another couple in him?

Yes I am coaching North Footscray and I will be playing
I'm very excited to be coaching again and I feel nth and I will be a great fit for each other.
I'll go into more after I have met with all players tomorrow night.
I'm chasing new recruits so anyone keen on coming to play under me and be developed to be the best player you can be either contact me or someone from nth or meet at the club tomorrow at 6pm.
As for port colts they are looking to go in a different direction and totally understand. I love the club and will always. I have many great friends their and leave knowing I always done my best for the club and had great success as player and coach.
I also leave with no underlying issues with anyone involve maybe on the other hand some people there don't like me but that's life and I am who am.
I wish the club all the success in the future and look forward to knocking them off next year.

What crap. You can't say this and then go to another club in the same comp. Indicates your not fair dinkum about your "new" club.
of course he can. its narrow minded views like yours that hurt the league when really we need look bigger picture and push the league forward. if Nth Footscray want to progress, then having someone with Rock07s experience will go a long way to doing that.
Nth footscray improving, improves the league, gets people to games and good players to the league that would have once said no way to playing WRFL.
the day everyone realises that teams playing against each other on a saturday, need to help each other the other days of the week, the better this league will become.
