Round 16: Votes v Carlton

5. Josh Ward
4. Will Day
3. James Worpel
2. Seamus Mitchell
1. Josh Weddle

The top 2 in Ward & Day were well clear of the rest. They tried hard all day for us and can definitely hold their heads high in a disappointing loss. Worpel was also very solid and deserved his 3rd placing. Only a few votes behind was Mitchell, who was also a few votes clear of Weddle. Morrison the unlucky 6th, only 1 vote behind Weddle.

Day widens his lead at the top of the leaderboard. Duke still well clear of 3rd. Worpel rises to equal 5th. Exciting to see both debutants this year in Mitchell & Weddle being included in the votes in multiple games now.

Round 17: Votes v GWS

5. Jai Newcombe
4. Will Day
3. James Worpel
2. Finn Maginness
1. Blake Hardwick

Newcombe was the clear standout this week in the voting. Day was equally comfortable in 2nd place. Worpel's last quarter was enormous which helped him get 3rd place this. Finn's great shutdown role got him just above the ever consistent Hardwick. Blanck & Nash further behind the top 5.

Day and Newcombe extend their top 2 lead, looking likely that one of our 2 young guns will take home the Yabby at the end of the year. Sicily's suspensions have been costly for him, impressive that he is still top 5. Worpel is having a huge year, probably underrated still. Good to see him in the top 3.
