Disappointed with my first loss, but met a team with a red hot defence.
I warned you about Brooks ;)

I got lucky with the Falcons/Lions game. Williams looked set for big day before going down, and the Falcons defence didn't post the numbers they have been all year.

I'm a big rap for Detroit, but they have cost me in the tips. I went for the wrong rookie with Jones earlier in the season, as Williams has been fantastic.

Dead Set Losers has shot the lead with a massive 179 points for the week. His QB got 40 points, he had four other offensive players with over 10 points, and had three defenders score 40 points between them. Amazing.
I couldn't believe that when I saw it either. Imagine the numbers Culpepper is going to put up against the Saints defence this week. :(

425yds, 5 TD's and a couple of INT's = 35.65 pts!

Thank the lord Moss wasn't there after half time.

Next victim : Tennesse - and my team :(

Just better hope big al Haynesworth gets a hold of him early and puts him out of business. One things for sure tennessee will bring more on the blitz than the saints did.

Tennesse (and McNair) have screwed me over all season. I've just about as much faith in them as the Saints. Having said that, the Titans "D" is whole lot more agressive than the Saints. The Vikings were sloppy against the Saints and I would expect the Titans to capitalise a bit more than the Saints.

Here's some nice stats on the Saints defence :

They rank last in total yards per game (414.2), yards per play (6.3), passing net yards per play (8.63) and points per game (27.5). They rank 31st league-wide in rushing yards per game (151.2).

Now there's some impressive stat's. :(

My team sucks flat out. Deuce being injured might finally hit his straps, struggled with the loss of my #1 WR, and Jake has been horrible all year. I need a reshufle.
Morpheus - what would it take to move one of your QBs? You only need one!
;)
Still after a QB? ;)

Good work NDG. Any chance I had of catching you Sunday night were shot by quarter time. When Jones went down on the first carry of the night (I see you've taken note of that ), and then Urlacher recorded a couple of sacks, I knew I was gone. Azumah doing his best to keep me in it.

Peeved that Shockey couldn't get over the line on two passes (stopped at the one yard line twice). Would have been nice for me too if the Cardinals had decided to throw the ball once in a while.

Any interest in Thomas JD?
Had a good pickup for once with Green, lost all patience with Jake and I didn't like Big Ben against NE. Hopefully Boldin will start putting up last years numbers, McCardell is a bit of a speculator and with Ward and Burress I'm set at WR. Deuce will make up for lost time, D Davis has been a disappointment and Droughns has to start getting TDs for me. Got some nice matchups in weeks 15 & 16 so if I can sneak into the top bracket I might be able to do a little damage.

I got spanked again.

Having Moss and Williams out is really hurting, and Washington's woes are killing Clinton Portis' productivity.

Byron Leftwich is ********ting me. Had him on the bench for 3 weeks, in that time he has dominated. I finally start him, and he gets like 1 point. :(

If i hadn't have picked up 6-7 interceptions, i wouldn't have scored 50 points this week.

What a win against the Dead Set Losers, Manning, Hall, Harrison... all step up and I got lucky with Dante Culpepper having an off night...

Now hopefully I can make it 7 in a row, I'll need another good week considering the matchups this week.

Hopefully Davis can get healthy, I really need his production when 100% at RB...

Stephen Davis is killing me, looks like he'll miss again...

If it wasn't for Manning my team would be **********.

I need a RB because my RB suck.

2nd and 3rd string RB's against New Orleans are always a good bet. ;)

Even if Holmes is fit this week, why would you risk him against that defence? Pretty safe that one or both wil have a career day.

I was going to play Chatman last week against NO, but lost the nerve. They only gave him a few runs late (50+ yds @ 7 a carry), and then I think SD thought it was not worth risking an injury to a backup and handed the ball to Turner (who managed more than 3 a carry). Even if Blaylock plays, I doubt KC would need to work him hard. I reckon Johnson could be given serious work. Tough call I suppose, but if NO keep playing the way they have, the game will be over after the 1st quater and KC will try and control the clock. But it is KC, and their defence could prove to be just as bad and allow the Saints to stay in the game (similar to the Vikings game). Either way, I'd still expect the starting KC runner to put up 100+ yds.

Try having Randy Moss and Roy Williams out week after week.

The two have 13 TD's between them, impossible to replace.

Picking up McNair won't help. The so-and-so has cost me on plenty of occasions this year. But I'm well and truely on the Brees bandwagon now.

Kevin Jones, Thomas Jones, McNair and Moore have all caused me grief in the last couple of weeks. In fact, just about every week I've lost a player in the first half of a game due to injury.

But if you want to palm off Randy, I'd be happy to carry him for a week or two.

I guess Phat was the big mover this week. Having Randy Moss back this week should offset any damage Aaron Brooks does.

evil empire and Dead Set Losers look too good. Big scoring QB's, fantastic kick returners and very good defences. Hard to beat.

The kick-returners have become the key, will have to change the scoring system for next season.

Incidently Elvis Drummond is my 3rd highest scorer and has 4 return TDs. Now that is some sort of effort. Was reading that he and Dante Hall are now the only 2 players in history to have returned 2 punt returns and 2 kick-off returns for TDs.

Losing Stachan was a big loss though, my defence aren't quite delivering as much as they used to.

Yeah Kick returners are the key.... T.McGee is now my 3rd highest scorer with 116 behind Favre (147) and Manning (257).

You were stiff to lose this week... had you of played anyone besides me you would have won, thought I'd lose this week, now I have beaten everyone in the league.....

And my defense is looking good atm, hopefully they can continue there good run in the remaining weeks.

Don't count yourself out, your lineup is just as good....

Well I'm glad I;m not playing you this week! 65pts from only two players!

Bet Phat's kicking himself for not playing McQuarters. 2 INT's, a TD and some nice punt returns. If you don't want him Phat I'll happilly take him off your hands. Today, him and Briggs looked like the only ones on the Chicago defense that hadn't given up in frustration at the offense.
