I noticed that P. German mentioned that Josh Head and Ryan Murphy ahd travelled witht he team and were good chances of playing. Do you know who is under an injury cloud or who may be a late omission

Haven't heard anything publicised but everyone knows that Heath Black's fitness has been a bit off for a while now and he may still be sore from last week (his first AFL game for a while). Josh Head would be a good swap for Heath if he's struggling. Antoni Grover may also be a little underdone after a few weeks off and might need an extra week.

Form wise, Scott Thornton might not sleep that well tonight. But I doubt that there would be a late change because of form, if a player was struggling for form so much that they didn't deserve their spot in the 22, they would play in the WAFL instead of wasting their weekend in Melbourne.

I think they where saying that black's got some sort of ilness.

Im going for no changes this week.

Cant wait to see young Chopper strut his stuff again this week :thumbsu:

Like already said, Head is a possibility for either the less than 100% Black or if Grover doesn't come up (Big big loss for Freo if Grover doesn't make it). Lesser possibility is Thornton.

The only way Murphy might come in is for Duffield maybe? I can't think of anybody else he may keep out.

It does annoy me how guys like McManus and Thorton can get games ahead of guys like Foster and Head respectively when the 2 are in very average form.

The last two weeks without Josh Carr, McManus has been given a tagging role. I thought he wasn't too bad last week given the job of watching Ryan Griffen all game. He'll play this role until J.Carr comes back. And I reckon that's a good move by the coaching staff. Watch for him to play on a Nick Stevens/Heath Scotland today. Hopefully Crowley goes to Judd.

Griffen's disposals in the last 4 weeks:

R5: 12
R6: 18
R7: 12
R8: 23 against Freo.

He wasn't very good. Not Tyson Stenglein bad, but definitely not good.
