Everyone has a position i think they will be more PROUD of. Not nessecarily the best line, but where you made some smart calls and got some good players.
For me it is my backline. I have only had to make one small alteration and with the way the currect crop are playing will not have to change the defence all year!!! Which gives me more money to spend on my midfield and forward line where the difference between good and great is paramount.
As it stands:
Heath Shaw: Leading scorer for the comp. Knew this guy had to be a musT!!!
Chad Cornes: Coming fourth for the season, along with Shaw was always going to be a big point getter and given their consitensy and the fact of how hard good defenders are to get i am proud of the decision for these two to be my two gun players as opposed to a midfielder who i will hopefully aqquire later.
Martin Mattner: CNot in my widlest dreams did i think he would be this good! But seeing he had the potential to improve in the Swans system is just reward.
Tadgh Kennelly: Gun early last year, was assured to be good again if not depleted by injury.
Jake King: First round was a revelation, and has been solid in past three weeks DT wise even if he hasn't been considered among Richmond's best.
Grant Birchall: Love this young kid. Rakes up the points and for the price he was initally was a bargain who could remain in for the entire season.
Bret Thornton: Been solid, regret slightly trading him for Ricky Petterd, however his numbers have been good.
Harry Taylor: Pre season form carried on into the season, has made a stack of money.
Xavier Ellis: Made a stack of money and will be crucial in trading up for a midfield gun within the next month.
Remarkably of my starting backs, my lowest scoring back (Thornton) has scored more then my highest scoring midfielder (Goodes) Hopefulyl within the next month i can improve my midfield to make a launch towards the top.
