Everyone has a position i think they will be more PROUD of. Not nessecarily the best line, but where you made some smart calls and got some good players.

For me it is my backline. I have only had to make one small alteration and with the way the currect crop are playing will not have to change the defence all year!!! Which gives me more money to spend on my midfield and forward line where the difference between good and great is paramount.

As it stands:
Heath Shaw: Leading scorer for the comp. Knew this guy had to be a musT!!!

Chad Cornes: Coming fourth for the season, along with Shaw was always going to be a big point getter and given their consitensy and the fact of how hard good defenders are to get i am proud of the decision for these two to be my two gun players as opposed to a midfielder who i will hopefully aqquire later.

Martin Mattner: CNot in my widlest dreams did i think he would be this good! But seeing he had the potential to improve in the Swans system is just reward.

Tadgh Kennelly: Gun early last year, was assured to be good again if not depleted by injury.

Jake King: First round was a revelation, and has been solid in past three weeks DT wise even if he hasn't been considered among Richmond's best.

Grant Birchall: Love this young kid. Rakes up the points and for the price he was initally was a bargain who could remain in for the entire season.

Bret Thornton: Been solid, regret slightly trading him for Ricky Petterd, however his numbers have been good.

Harry Taylor: Pre season form carried on into the season, has made a stack of money.

Xavier Ellis: Made a stack of money and will be crucial in trading up for a midfield gun within the next month.

Remarkably of my starting backs, my lowest scoring back (Thornton) has scored more then my highest scoring midfielder (Goodes) Hopefulyl within the next month i can improve my midfield to make a launch towards the top.

Pretty happy with my team all around at the moment. In places where there are let downs, others are stepping up. My bench isn't necessarily great, but doesn't matter at the moment. Will cross those bridges when we come to them.

On field, I've got...

Backs: H Shaw, C Cornes, Mattner, Bock, Thursfield, N Brown, Bradshaw
Mids: Bateman, Griffin, Stanton, Dal Santo, Stevens, Pendelbury
Rucks: Cox, and rotating Gardiner, Kreuzer and Simmonds depending on match ups.
Forwards: J Brown, Reiwoldt, B Johnson, Hawkins, N Thompson, Rioli, Pavlich

Sitting in 78th so far in my first year, so pretty happy even with the unperformers.

My backline is also my proudest position (except for the bench).

I have Chad Cornes, Heath Shaw, Darren Milburn, Marty Mattner, Daniel Bradshaw, Brett Jones and Josh Hunt.

I haven't had to make many trades this year and that is mainly due to my backline.

My backline and Forward line atm are both pretty solid

Backline with only one trade for it:
Shaw
Cornes
Mattner
Newman
Goddard (Hurn to begin)
Guerra
Pfeiffer with SDT for round 1

Forward line with one trade:
Pavlich
Brown
Franklin
Porplyzia
Riewoldt (Hall until this round)
Deledio
Vince

I was very happy with the choices of Mattner and Guerra in the backs and Porplyzia and Vince especially in the backs, didn't think he has a 140+ score in him

If Bowden wasn't being a jabroni I'd be very chubbed with my backline.

C.Cornes
Bowden
Shaw
Gilbee
Milburn
Bradshaw
Mattner

N.J.Brown
Edwards

The only trade I've had to make in that backline is Thompson out for Brown, however I think Bowden might get the boot unless he is named and starts playing well really soon.

Also very happy with my backline:

Cornes
Shaw
Milburn
Bolton
Mattner
Newman
Bradshaw

Scott DT
Hartlett

Haven't made a backline trade and hopefully won't have to.

Also love my backline.

Chad Cornes
H Shaw
Mattner
Waters
Bradshaw
Johncock
Brown/Taylor

I love my forward line:

Jono Brown
Pav
Riewoldt
Delidio
Porps
Burton
Rioli

with Gamble and Tipett on the bench.

Replace Lids with Brad Johnson and that's my forward line- while there's been a few lacklustre performances, it's pretty strong (are you listening BJ? I called you strong- don't make a liar out of me!).

Don't really have to do much to it for a while, so I can concentrate on strengthening my back and mids- the back needs a hell of a lot of work unfortunately.

Haven't made a backline trade and hopefully won't have to.

Same here haven't made any trades in my backline & hopefully won't have to either.*touches wood*
H.Shaw
C.Cornes
M.Mattner
D.Bradshaw
B.Jones
C.Newman
J.Waite
(emerg. Proud & S.Thompson)

My backs avg. per round:cool:
Rd.1 = 98pts.
Rd.2 = 97pts.
Rd.3 = 112pts
Rd.4 = 118pts.

every good team needs good reserves, lots of people make an awsome 22 than just get rubbish reserve players who dont even get games.

proudest:

Midfielders
Judd, Bartel, Power, Dal Santo, Stevens, Houli, Palmer (e)

so so:

Backs
C.Cornes, Bradshaw, H.Shaw, S.Fisher, McLeod, N.Brown (coll), Barlow, Pfeiffer (e)

Forwards
Franklin, Riewoldt, J.Brown, N.Thompson, Tippett, Rioli, Hill, Gamble (e)

I really like my midfield line ATM

Ablett, K.Cornes, S.Goodwin, Swan, N.Stevens, R.Palmer (Masten, Woenamirri)

Forwards are doing okay as well -

Buddy, Fevola, J.Brown, Burton, Porplyzia, Pavlich, Rioli (Tippet, Gamble)

My midfield got me 1000+ points last weekend, so I love them right now. I'm not too happy with the rest of my team only managing ~1300.

BTW - I think my ruck division would have to be the most chosen ruck division on SC: Cox, Simmonds, Kreuzer and West.

Hill out for McKinley
Nicoski out for Ibbotson

Both happened after McKindley and Ibbo had played 2 games. Long way to go to be proved right, but looking good at the mo. :D

Probably my forward line:
J Brown, Riewoldt, Franklin, Pavlich, Bradshaw, Rioli and Gamble (Emergencies- N Thompson & Reimers )

Then my backs:
C Cornes, Shaw, Gilbee, Newman, Birchall, Ibbotson and Pfeiffer (Emergencies- Proud & Hansen)

Lastly my mids (gonna upgrade Stevens to Bartel to rectify):
G Ablett, Dal Santo, K Cornes, Selwood, Stevens and Palmer (Emergencies- Houli & Bird).
