Hawks pay $50k per more per year than Geelong offered (and over a shorter time frame too, in year 5 salaries will be alot higher than now) and Geelong refused to match or better as they pay in bands. As much as I rate Harley, this move Could bring the clubs culture into disrepute.. Trading a captain is never a good thing to do and occasionally influences other players decision to leave too

Harley Bennell is a much better player than Swallow. Gold Coast would laugh at North. Gold Coast aren't the retirement club that North has become over the last couple of years.
