That hasn’t stopped these blokes wanting trades we had Oliver Henry having a waa waa he was a grand total of 45mins away from home!
Let’s not pretend that would have happened if his brother wasn’t playing for the cats already. That was the main draw for him imo.

Seems a bit of a mummy’s though!

He (or his manager) made a mistake by trying to use the ‘go home’ factor as a reason to request a trade rather than being upfront about his desire to play alongside Jack from the get-go. He’d already made clear in a couple of interviews earlier in the year that he was perfectly happy with his living arrangements, having the best of both worlds, being less than an hour from home but also being based in the heart of Melbourne.
The only thing they achieved by beating around the bush with the go home excuse was the mummy’s boy perception that you and many others seem to have, and it will take a fair while to get rid of that tag imo. It might even stick with him for the rest of his career tbh.

Agreed think you are bang on.

Billy Dowling rated quite highly in the phantoms on this board, however not in Shifters top 40 and doesn't have an official AFL highlights video on the YouTube channel.

Could he be this year's Ned Long and slip all the way to the rookie draft? Or go undrafted all together?

out of interest why do you think Darcy Jones is a B grader and not an A+er? I feel like we all get so swept up in mock drafts that it starts to affect the way we think. I mean Cadman is in the A grade but he'd be one of the worst kicks for goal in the pool. A guy like Jones has traits in the mould of a Johannison or Caleb Daniel imo. What point of difference does Ashcroft have in his game other than accumulating? His disposals are average, he doesn't break the lines. He works hard both ways though.

Why do u hate Brizzy so much ?
