Still remaining for 2015:
Crowley
Sheridan
Clarke
Crozier
Taberner
Apeness
Grey
A.Pearce

Some bright young talent there to re-sign still. Aside from Crowls, I can't see us letting any of these guys go.

If Grey goes backwards this year he might be in a bit of strife

Don't get me wrong he's a very important player but two years for MJ? Dodgy back and 31 this year. It's a big risk. Well down to Colin Young for getting that across the line.

List has never looked better, I would hope we delist, lose the minimum required, and have a crack at Free Agency. Can only see
Elvis, Pav, Crowley retiring, Sylvia paid out.

What? From what I have seen (watched all the Peel games) he is going from strength to strength. Will be a very good player for us.
If he can get onto the park in an AFL game... ahead of him atm.. sutty, spurr, ibbo and duffield. (If I understand the role he is playing at peel correctly).

If you were croz or sheridan it could be tempting to leave if aside from injury you didnt play 10-15 games this year.

Anyone else think Apeness and Pearce may already have the third year on their contracts? It's not like we missed the fact Simpson and Smith both did last year.

Surprised Taberner is still un-signed but wouldn't be surprised if we hear nothing about Apeness and Pearce until next season.

Isn't his back good now?
Bad backs quite often don't go away. Just ask someone like Scott Gumbleton. Looks good then Clair's up again. Obviously the club thinks he can play on until 2017 but as I said it's risky to offer a guy with a history of back problems a contract until he's 33.

Not sure where you got your list from, but according to Seppo's list there's a lot more unsigned players than that.

Perennial issue of keeping depth isn't it. Unfortunately, the only way all of them will get substantial game time this year is if we have a wretched run with injuries, and that's the last thing we want.

Not suggesting Brady would get a game ahead of any of those mentioned, just think he has a lot of upside and we should persevere.

If some of them want to leave for lack of opportunity then so be it, let's get what we can for them and move on. We can't play everyone.

What are your guys thoughts on Kreuzer from the Blues? Sounds like he might be amongst those put on the table in exchange for youth next year

Its a good challenge to have. I wonder when we start to get more game time into them over duff (nearing end of career - though his strengths shouldnt decrease with age - kicking) and the others mentioned.

I watched the game saturday - havent seen grey before but read all last years reports and he was an emergency for us last year iirc before injury so there must be something there. Success in this league is tenuous. A couple of injuries and age and teams can slide quickly. Plus the draw is against the top sides meaning that any slide is significant. We want ultimate success, but I also want sustained success. I have been stoked with how we have gone so far this year, I dont think we have been as good as some are suggesting, it would be nice to finish top two, really it would seem for an interstate team especially WA or SA teams, you need to finish top two to win it all.Hoping we have found or do find the improvement to finish top two, and in a perfect world get games into more of the young players.

Sheridan getting injured after his best game for us was just stupid dumb luck, i hadnt really rated him prior, will be interesting to see if he gets back into the team.

For ever injured & Freo top heavy in rucks IMO.

I think he will come good with injuries in the next couple of years as he grows into his body. Freo have sandi and after that we are suspect. Clarke goes ok but it will be interesting to see if he can transition into a number one ruck. I now expect us to lose clearances when he is in the ruck. I think we will get through the 2016 season as a minimum with sandi... it will be interesting to see how long he goes after that.

By the sounds of the reports from the Peel v EP game, he's gone forward, massively. Ross even mentioned him (on the radio or in his presser, can't remember which). I was thinking it wasn't a good sign we didn't see him in the NAB, but he might just be tracking nicely.

Is Kreuzer any good up forward?

I can't remember, seems like an eternity since I've seen him play.
