LOL! Big call. As much as i didn't enjoy KU as a commentator (I think she was better suited to perhaps a special comments role instead), i think she is by far more tolerable that BT.

I wish Channel 7 would fob this idiot off. Absolutely grates on me. I agree with a couple of other comments in this thread that he has easily overtaken Dwayne Russell as the worst commentator doing the rounds. Absolute flog.
I live in the UK so unfortunately whenever i get the opportunity to watch a Saturday night game it's ALWAYS BT, i don't have the option of muting the TV whilst finding a radio with alternative commentary.

Last night he said something like - John McCarthy used to play for Collingwood and now he plays for Port Adelaide - sounded awkward.
I noticed that too, no one said anything for a bit after that as well.

It really is amazing how competent they make Richo and Lingy sound. Although that might also be because those two actually follow footy and have some insight into the way the game is played. Hell, they even make that Basil whateverhisnameis sound good.

I have more respect for the ABC VFL commentary team than these two clowns.
It is laughable that Channel 7 payed Millions of $$$$ for broadcast rights, and have a guy like Brian Taylor - who fails to utter a legitimite comment on the match except for OH BOY and WOWEE - as their no.1 commentator for saturday night footy.
Channel Seven should do a swapover next year with the ABC team, as BT and Darcy are diminishing the credibility of AFL commentary, and are turning into a complete mockery.

Most of his commentary is just him trying to score points over Darcy and Richo rather than calling the game.

FoxFooty should run a reality show searching for the next footy commentator(s). Would be the first reality TV show that I'd watch
It was beautiful the other night when BT and Richo were talking up Josh Hill. Complete lemon sucking silence from Himbo Darcy.
Car horns honking at country matches provide better commentary than Channel 7.
