Faaark is the job market that crazy? You seem like a smart enough cat. But you are pretty young from memory (24ish?) and for better or worse a lot of employer's look for experience.

Thank * I haven't had to go job hunting for since late 2012. At least not properly anyway. Something has always come up through an old contact. It's one of the worst ******* things on the planet.

As much as i hate the fakeness of it, if you want to avoid job hunting the best thing you can do is be chummy with as many people as you can in your work circles. If you can do it well you can pretty much avoid having to deal with seek.com.au. I hate the term networking but I guess that's what it is.
