Whats wrong with purple?

anyone who has a problem with wearing purple or even pink for that matter is OBVIOUSLY not comfortable enough with there sexuality

obviously the immature eagles supporter LUCKY must be a young teenager who is still discovering his sexuality

For the record. Married. Two kids. And I've worn both a purple fake fur coat and a pink skirt to seperate fancy dress parties.. (I woulda been a sexy chick!) but on the footy field? No thanks.

And Tripple... My closest friend loves the purple colour as well, but how about you conduct your own poll and ask any footy players you know "would you prefer to wear a black jumper, or purple? Red or purple? White or purple?" I'm not saying it's the main problem, but when you're team isn't going well, and hasn't been for a while, the last thing you wanna hear as a player is some opponent ridiculing the colours you're wearing. Heck, some opponents can make fun of a white jumper - it's not nice out there.

I reckon if my team is underperforming the first thing I want to hear is about what colour im wearing, because there are obviously bigger issues.

Im a supporter of the purple/white jumpers for Freo... wouldnt that make things really tough out there!

Good point, that's a good way to look at it. How old are you Tripp? Many of these AFL players are drafted before they are 20. As you may know it doesn't take much to unnerve a kid. You may ask why so many potential stars have left Freo early on. Polak. Simmonds. Medhurst. McPhee. who's going to be next? Warnock? Mundy? And what was with Trent Croad? Did well at Hawks before and after, but struggled at Freo. Lets face it, some of these guys aren't bright enough to not let it bother them. Lets make it easier for them and take jumper embarrasment out of the equation.

Whenever the colour purple is linked to poor on-field performance refer the poster to the Melbourne Storm, who wear a predominantly purple outfit.

In the competition since 1998, they have made finals in 8 of 11 years for 3 grand final appearances and 2 flags. The GF appearances and flags may increase by one when this year's finals are completed. Melbourne Storm have been minor premiers for the last 3 years.

Your painting skills are as bad as mine. I did something very similar a year or so back and thought it looked bloody awesome.
