What I'd like to see is a dry warm day (even if it rains late in the last quarter) where Riewoldt takes 15 marks, kicks a bag of four or five, Kosi actually earns his spot with two or three of his own, Milne goes ape shit on Malthouse and bags a few and the Saints win it by ten or more goals.

I don't think its a chance in hell of happening but it'd be nice.

I fear this week will turn into a farcical "Swan is redeemed" week for the Pies with them winning by five or six goals (with the game being decided by the ten minute mark of the third quarter) and Swan taking home Norm.

Sorry, no-one is pissed off with Judd enough to not give him the credit he deserves for being a great player, because he "didnt come to other Victorian teams" (what a crock). The reality is nobody could compete with his greed.

If he really wanted to change clubs to gain ultimate team success once again, he would have gone to Geelong, Collingwood or St Kilda, not a dead-beat club like Carlton.

Anyway, I'm glad Swan didn't win the award, as now I can put the Brownlow in perspective of where it really belongs - a couple of rungs below the MVP and AFLCA awards.

And that's not because just because Swan didn't win it, not only did he not, but the fact that the likes of Hodge, Goddard, Montagna, Harvey, Barlow, Pavlich, Harvey, Didak, Chapman could only poll between 8 and 16, is a farce.
