WTF??!!! They chase only 152??? We played over half our overs paced as a "50 over" game. They can set there's as a 41 over game from the start. How does it work that they chase less?

Seems D/L system is worked out for the sub-continent sides too...lol!

My guess is the reasoning is Australia were bowled out in less then 41 overs and instead of Sri Lanka getting 50 overs to bat they only get 41 hence a run deduction.

My guess is the reasoning is Australia were bowled out in less then 41 overs and instead of Sri Lanka getting 50 overs to bat they only get 41 hence a run deduction.

I didn't think about it like that, explains a bit. However I really see no advantage that the team batting first get in losing those wickets. They have already been punished enough with losing those wickets, if they somehow manage to scrap a total then they shouldn't lose those runs.

Half fit, yes...over the hill, don't think so. He generally the best we have in this form of the game. Given no indication of being over the hill just a bit down in match fitness.
