I think it was more about the structures of having Drew, Tarrant and Hansen. All 3 moving around and creating leads.

Yeah he was rusty. Yet he played a part and contested well on most occassions. He was rusty but he'll improve on that.
He also drags a defender for Taz and Dish.
Could have kicked 4.
The triple towers is here to stay.

Probably because not too many sides these days have three genuine KP defenders. Too much emphasis on run, and they have been getting away with it. But with three KP forwards, and they midfield not dominating, they really got exposed.Geez, i'd love to know why Reily was on Tarrant for large chunks of yesterday. How he was supposed to stop someone of Tarrant's size is anyone's guess.
Yeah, I thought the triple towers working well and not getting in each others way was one of the real positives to come out of the match. Could be a big thing for the rest of the season.
Yes the run in is poor. Could lake a leaf out of LT's book. He counts the steps out and kicks from the same place every time. Notwithstanding the fact that LT cannot generally hit a barn door, but the routine needs major work.I think someone needs to take Lach aside and tell him that to enhance his chances of kicking straight for goal he needs to kick the ball at least 15 feet before the man on the mark. The amount of times he gets too close and has to give it some air is crazy. He's actually a decent kick except for this, and the wobbling of the ball before the drop.
With the tree of these guys up there we are going to have games where one will get off the leash. In form they can all do a job in front of the sticks.
Yeah, I wonder where this leaves Black and Edwards?
And for that matter, McIntosh when he comes back?
With three genuine KPF's who can take a mark and make a contest, our forward line looks very dangerous.
I disagree, he could probably hit a barn door, the problem comes about when there are 20,000+ people holding their collective breaths as he makes his attempt.Notwithstanding the fact that LT cannot generally hit a barn door, but the routine needs major work.

Thats the only issue I have with it, especially if they have to hunt kicks up the ground because we are under the pump in the middle. We need more from Lachie and Tazza at ground level.
If we can improve that by 50% then look out!
Reilly played on Tarrant because Sam shaw hyper extended his knee and was on and off the field for
Most of they day. They have three talls in rutten, Talia and shaw. All three were beaten pretty comprehensively
Hansen still needs to work on his goal kicking, it is still pretty average. He is running too close to the man on the mark and there doesn't seem to be any real fluency in his kicking for goal, it feels unnatural, like someone having a shot with their opposite foot.
confidence issue? I think its just having smarts about you... One of the first things i was taught as a kid when having a shot at goal was to make sure i left enough room to kick. He got close to man on the mark and you would have thought he learnt from it the second time around, but he didn't... Apart from that he contested well..It has nothing to do with biomechanics.
It's a confidence issue.
He'll get better with more runs in the seniors.
In the VFL until a spot opens up.
