I don't think you're the only one who has these anxiety attacks Moo.. I was flipping' n' floppin' and coughed up serious points because I'm reading WAY TOO MUCH into every match up. and oddly enough, Reacher was just as brave to tip the gallant Buccs and roll the dice on a 50/50 game ('Sota vs Indy) whereas I chewed up 13CR on the freakin' Ratbirds!! Jinxed them well.. haha@! and now Reacher & I find ourselves in an ol' fashioned arm wrestle for the FOUR points.. something has to give..

And you back the chiefs oh dear! For what its worth my tipping this week was due in part to my laziness. I backed all the home teams figuring I'll change them sat night.... Yep I forgot to change them

Don't feel too bad because the likes of TCol <<< reigning Champ started 1-4 last season before getting on his winning streak of seven, needing to overcome the WildCard Qualification stage which didn't start well with the TNF game, but somehow, someway, pulled thru to qualify, then he rolled up his sleeves and CUT LOOSE.. going ALL DA WAY!!

Another wildcard qualifier who made it despite being very low on the CR standings, was BeinPurplenGreen, who started his 2011 campaign 1-3 & 2-4 but come home with a wet sail.. winning FIVE of his next six!!

Then you have the guys like fuey who has snared TWO AE titles (both thru tie-breakers), started his AE11 campaign with a flyer, 5-1.. before finishing tightly 3.5 in the last six to nudge and wiggle into the wildcard qualification stage but buckled under pressure somehow.

The CR is doing ok for me, but the strikes keep coming. Sorry Bucketss, I'm a fast starter, but normally plateau around mid-season, you got me at the wrong time.

Detroit is better than they have been in years....even decades. But they're still Detroit. It's early, but SF has the best team in the league. So matched up against each other....easy pick. Ehhhh....so was New England, I thought.......... But everyone loaded up on NE, so the points are a wash.

Every year it's pretty much the same in the NFL.

Teams that have been good over a number of years start poorly /inconsistent, average teams get the jump due to earlier preperation/off-season changes & shitty teams look like world beaters. By week 4 it all starts to settle down and the separation starts to happen.

The reality is there is little between the 32 teams. It's a game of attrition and good teams are good because they adjust. The more film opposition have on new personnel/schemes, the more good teams exploit it.

It's always a lottery early on.

The Saints I reckon could be in trouble because of that. Spags has real issues on the D & with no head coach breathing down his shoulder, I reckon he's one that's always struggled with the 'adjustment' part of the game. He doesn't have the talent on this D he's had on others. He's always relied on the A grade pass rushers and talent over the centre. We have neither.

The Saints don't really deserve to go into any game atm a favorites let alone getting a high CR. We are getting man handled by average teams. Our D is again the worst in the league. High confidence ratings on the Saints should be a thing of the past.
