League football operations manager Adrian Anderson said he would recommend to the AFL commission that Adelaide’s actions be taken into consideration in its deliberations regarding the Tippett affair.

Withdraw their top two picks
In a clear attempt to penalise themselves this draft when their picks are horrible anyway as opposed to next year when they will likely have far better picks.

To add on top of that they will be able to partake in F/A next season even if they do lose picks, which of course Carlton wasnt alllowed to trade players for picks better than 3rd rounders, but Adelaide can free agent whore themselves however they like.

If the AFL don't go, thanks for taking yourself out of this draft but we're still takign away your picks for the next TWO years then i will be furious.

Not to mention they add the 17yo they got last year (Brad Couch) who would have likely been a top 10 pick this year...
