So from what I'm reading it's been established that Dannnnnnnnnn is jonathan Patton's best mate and has lured him to the club as he recovers from his 7th knee operation.
Actually, by the time you finished writing that post, he had his eighth and ninth knee operations.

I'd like to pay my respects to List Management - Tradings and Delistings. 719 pages, 577585 views, 17958 replies (5000 of which were Dannnnnnnnnn 's:p). Farewell old friend.

Almost as many replies as the total number of posts on the GWS site, and the AFL marketing people probably put down most of them to make GWS look relevent.

Thing is I'd have another quick small in the FP instead of Dickson to reek havoc with Dahlhaus. Not Tutt as he doesn't influence the game as much, Maybe we'll find one in the draft?

Yeah, so do I. I'm just talking about the other trade that was mentioned, which I think is unrealistic. Then again, I thought taking O'Rourke and Plowman at 2 and 3 was very, very dumb, so it's clear that Sos and I are pretty far apart in what we consider to be good deals.

SOS has ballsed up everything he's done since he stopped playing. He was hopeless as a backline coach for us, worse at St Kilda and is now doing the impossible and trying to make a hash of getting 25 1st round picks.

From a reliable source I heard that the only thing stopping it happen is the club is naturaly worried about his jumpers knee. The trade is 20% going to happen 80% against at this stage. y

I am a bit concerned that for a bloke who hasn't played any footy we're relying on him to man the fort from Day 1.

Whilst I'm excited about the prospect of getting a bloody KPF finally, I still feel like our biggest need is silk around the ball. Not at all convinced we have enough of it. Next year i'm expecting another Top 10 pick so we'd literally grab one of the best Top 3 KPF on offer with GWS/Melb not needing one.

Pick 4 could be Kelly or Sharenbergers.. Both would be great additions to the team. It is perhaps a bigger risk to go to the draft if we nab Crameri also.

I am staggered to see the deal:

WB give: pick 4, pick 22, Easton Wood
GWS give: pick 11, Jonathan Patton

I would do that in a heartbeat.

Pick Sheed, Lennon, Taylor or Bontempelli with pick 11, and boo-ya, we have a KPF and some more silk around the ball.

Belchambers has re-signed with Essendon.
Certainly doesnt sound like they are rushing to get out of the place.
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-09-17/bellchambers-resigns-with-bombers

Despite suggestions that out-of-contract players could walk out on the club following the ASADA investigation, Bellchambers said he always wanted to stay with the Bombers.
He joins Jobe Watson, Dyson Heppell, Jake Melksham, Cale Hooker and Jake Carlisle, who have all re-signed with the Bombers during a difficult season for the club.

Any love out there for Sam Reid. Played in a premiership winning team at age 20. Rising 22 now. 196cm and 96kg. Developed and trained in one the best environments imaginable. What's his status with injuries and list standing at Sydney?

I'm not sure he'll leave Sydney. White will likely go imo and while I love him Rohan is more of a third tall forward. Goodes will retire in a year too. A key forward trio of Tippett, Reid and Rohan looks very nice.

In addition, he's a very similar player to Jones and I think most of us believe that Jones will become at least a serviceable player. Would be looking elsewhere at this stage, but I wouldn't be absolutely heartbroken if we did chase him.

He is signed until 2017 and has seemingly got a chronic Quad injury recently

He seems physically similar to Jones. Perhaps reads the ball better in the air.

Don't think GWS will swing Pick 11 our way. It's a bit unfair to them IMO.

WB give: Pick 4 + Easton Wood
GWS give: J patton

WB get: J Patton
GWS get: Sharenberg/Billings/Kelly + Easton Wood.

That's about right and fills 2 needs for GWS.

Players have to sign with Essendon. If they request to break contract or get traded (as they have to approve the trade also) the players run the risk and likely legal minefield that once they are suspended they are not able to get paid. Certainly any club that picks up and Essendon player is not going to be paying them, meaning that they will have to sue Essendon. This is much easier done if still at the club. Catch is all players signed consent forms approving the injections. Watch this space it's going to be an absolute sh*t fight!

So we could pick Crameri and then he gets suspended...... guess that's obvious?? but most still keen on him?

Is anyone else having trouble reading BF in the last two days. I am getting the BF logo as a non faint watermark behind every quoted piece making it impossible to read. Is it just me?

If Patton was to get the all clear on his body do you think we would actually give up pick 4 as part of a deal, we've just never been the type of club that trades away first round picks, I hope the club is considering doing it this time though.

Of course Carlton want to find him a new home, cause his knee is stuffed and they hope to get something for him, he can't cover ground at VFL level letalone AFL, pass.

Just you I fear. Seems like a hell of a thing.
