I'm glad he left haha, if he didn't we wouldn't have Hogan.Tom Scully is a ****
He actually didn't, he said it would mean alot to remain a 1 club player, he never said that money means alot more to him though.Tom Scully also confirmed that he is going to remain a one-club player throughout his career.
@ thetank you don't consider Jones as A grade? He practically carries the team weak in weak out and racks up decent numbers consistently with a tag. He's not elite ie ablett but I would say A grade considering the lack of support.

Only in crazy land is it too early to tell about Viney.
Only in crazy land could you say that Trengove has been a spud so far.
He's a class above - just watch.
Trenners is a gun - last two years have been very poor but his first two were great.
Has brute class in his game, just has some confidence and physical issues to deal with.
Fair enough everyone has their opinion. I would say Scott West was an Elite player in a poor side. Probably should of won a brownlow. However as bad as the bulldogs were at stages they still had midfielders. Midfield wise the bulldogs were at the back of the pack at their worst, Melbournes midfield is about 3 lengths short of the pack lol. I think someone like Swan considered an A grader would look b+ if he was lonesome in our midfield. As much as I love Jones, I don't think he's an A-grader. He's a B+ in my book, doesn't quite have the cutting edge or influence that the top guys have (like say a Scott West had when he was carrying a rubbish Dogs side). Having said that, Jones has gone far beyond what we projected we would do and looks to have gotten the absolute most out of himself, so full credit there.
In any case, the fact that the best player Melbourne has is a borderline A grade player means that the development team needs to get its ass together!
Rumor on the AFL website that Swans are looking to trade to get into the top 5 - willing to give up two premiership players to help make room for Buddy...
Linked us and the Saints (who've said they won't trade #3).
So, Sydney - what young midfielders will you give up?

Cheers, don't think we'd be getting rid of too much mid quality to be honest. Seems a bit 1+1=2? situation
No doubt none of Hannebery, McVeigh, Kennedy, Jack would be on the table.
If you want #2 (which I'm not totally sure you do, it is just a rumor) then you'd have to give us something good.
I know Swans fans love Parker, but if you have to make room and need to give up mids to get pick #2... what else could you give up?
It would have to be Parker, as the're's no way they'd give up Hanneberry. Parker ain't worth 2 alone though.
Add Mitchell onto the untradable list.
Pretty much spot on in regards to who would be starting point talk of Parker and agree that he alone wouldn't be worth pick 2. If Lamb we're to elect to go back then possibly him or our first.
If the rumour has any legs it would be Parker and our first for top 5 pick I'd think. Loathe to let him go, especially with our drafting history in the first round
Yeah, knew I was missing one - Mitchell is a gun.
Parker's a good start to a trade from my point of view, it'll be the swapping around to get both clubs happy which could cause some angst.
Thomas Bugg's name thrown up anyone interested?
$cully's roommate.
With GWS looking to trade a couple more youngsters, we could offer #2 up for Adams + our pick of their ones on the outer (ie. Bugg) + maybe their 2nd/3rd rounder.
Would rather do a deal with Sydney to get more experienced players in.
Assuming we still want to get out of the draft.
Again, all hypothetical.
Not sure about trading with Sydney. Can't see them letting go of any of the players we'd want.
