In all seriousness, how dumb is this guy?
They are copping a hammering over this. Even KG is vehemently opposed! When was the last time KG opposed anything the AFC did? I guess that he's not contractually obligated to blindly follow the line now that he's not with CrowAA.
BTW, is Notso Smart checking out Thompson's arse in the unveiling photo?
Might be other reasons behind this move but Scott Thompson an ex PA fanatic as the model & the excessive smirk of Nigel, that is taking the piss.
To be fair, for all we know KG could have been incoherently yelling at his toaster when they asked for his opinion.
only 1 thing matters now.... WE MUST WIN THIS GAME
Seems like there will be a fair bit of sulking from a few parties but once the game has been and decided they will get over it!
To be fair, for all we know KG could have been incoherently yelling at his toaster when they asked for his opinion.
I guess if you were a club then the members would get together and vote them out. But that can't happen. Cos you're a corporation.not hear to troll...
firstly just gonna say that we shouldnt wear the jumper vs port.
during heritage round could be a possibility.
reading your posts about trigg and smart i agree both are knobs and our board needs a cleanout... has needed one for a long time. not many crows fans would argue otherwise.
the one and only thing i like about this situation is that we (crows) are doing something to get away from the crow bot era under craig.
not sure its the right thing to do.
What i do know is this has re sparked the rivalary and will make for one hell of a showdown.
it will be packed to the rafters at adelaide oval which can only be good for both clubs.
Footy season seems like its here already with all the banter getting thrown around.
i leave you guys to it.
Adelaide chief operating officer Nigel Smart said the move was motivated by the Crows' desire to honour the proud history of SA football. As a part of this did he ask permission of the current sanfl clubs permission or didn't he believe that they had earned the right to have any opinion on the use oftheir jumper?
Well if we win it your argument loses is potency. So let's just see what unfoldsActually, we're unlikely to let you live it down for quite some time.
..... I look forward to the celebration of SA football by the Crows on that day, and the recognition they will give to all teams, including the team that has won the most flags in the SANFL, provided the most state representatives, provided the player who played the most state games, provided the coach who coached the most state games, achieved the longest premiership streak in competition history, provided the player who has won the most competition Magarey Medals, and provided the player who holds the all time single season high goalkicking record.
Because if that doesnt happen, then the Crows and the SANFL will be exposed for their true intentions of this decision.
Yes...I am looking forward to the Crows parade of ex Port Adelaide state reps and champions. I am sure Nige has already been on the blower to them all for the pre-match cavalcade!
I'm not sure that many of their past players who also played SoO would want to pay homage to the jumper on this stage. Its our home game. If they want a cavalcade they can do it standing on segways on war memorial tennis court.
