Now that we've resigned McGovern, who's left? Lycett and Gaff?

He would be a good get for us. Unlikely though, as most phantom drafts have Richmond or Melbourne picking him up. If we could trade an established player for a first rounder then we'd be sure to go after him.Gee Christian Petracca would be a good option for us.
Saw a lot of him last year (and hardly anything of him this year) but I was really impressed.
Seems to have shed weight for this year and is moving better.
Don't know if he'll last to pick 7-8 though.
Brayshaw looks solid too, looks A grade.Gee Christian Petracca would be a good option for us.

Sinclair and Selwood for Melbourne's pick #4?
The Dees, GWS and Carlton finishing below us is a bit problematic though. All would/could take mids. Not sure about the Lions although the Saints would surely go tall.
Selwood's a Victorian so he might want to go home. What makes you think that Shuey would go? I don't think we'd be trading him to be honest.Would trade Selwood. Doubt the club will. Would prob cause tension in the playing group too? Shuey might leave as well?
What Im worried about it those three clubs bidding on Waterman to make us use of first. Im really keen on getting another first rounder through trades as insurance.
And the families of Morabito and Rohan - both great sized mids not getting a runI really hope Vozzo and his mates are in Mundy's ear.

Yes, but we are underestimating strategic moves by the other clubs IMO.As far as I'm aware he's rated as a 10-20 player atm isn't he?

So there's a very real chance that a tall may be best available.
That'll be a difficult choice.
A lot of people are giving us Pickett in their mock drafts.
As I understand it he's similar to Yarran in a lot of ways.
I don't think that is our primary need atm.
I seriously doubt that we would let that happen, but we could Ebert them in return.Call their bluff and let them take Waterman with pick 4-6.
At least that's one option.

Subi Oval would be in flames if we knocked back a F/S like Waterman. We have no bargaining power.
It'll be interesting if it's something like Goddard Vs Pickett.
We could use a quality KPD prospect, but not as much as we could use a quality midfielder. We need damaging, offensive midfielders. While I haven't seen enough of him to give a proper analysis, we need players like this, someone who might frontrun but also be able to burst suddenly from congestion.
I reckon Pickett could probably play pretty early in his first season too. I would prefer him over someone like Blakely as I've said who has less obvious weaknesses but is a bit more vanilla.
our 'best forward' of late re-signing puts pressure on the other forwards
wut?No it doesn't, it just makes Simmo look like an idiot.
