l reckon he knew he was just keeping the spot warm for Waite to return and played accordingly. If Waite cant play again this week then it has to be Majaks turn. Black needs to play in the Vfl for at least 4-6 weeks to regain the confidence and desire to want to play Afl football again.

Who's fault is that?? Greenwood says hi !! The current selection policy/process is shaping this school of thought amongst the players.

Black has talent. Looks like a guy who hasn't lifted a weight in the last 3 years at the club. Needs to get physically stronger and fitter- When he does that his game and confidence will improve. Seems our vfl coaches are a bit smarter than our afl ones. Playing black up the ground trying to get his hands on a bit of pill.

Only ended up with 10 pos but 2 goals is a start.

Just needs a good run in the gym, especially on the shoulders and legs. VFL form will sort itself out and should be back around the firsts in about 10 weeks if he has a really good run physically.

Don't think he has it in him. 2.5 against a very average Geelong VFL side.

The club decided to keep playing him, instead of surgery
Had surgery at the end of year and not much of a pre season.
Yeah let's trade him. Petrie and Waite will be around forever

When fit top 10 player in our afl team, but doesn't set the vfl on fire so we should trade. Watch the 1st half of last season when fit

I know I may be in the minority here but I actually have faith in Blacky ... But if we were to entertain a trade with Freo a fair & reasonable trade I would be asking for Crozier . Rate him massively he's quick , skilful knows where the goals are and can take a hanger

IF he asks to be traded to Freo then I wouldn't be averse to going wih Crozier,Victorian with a bit of pace and x-factor.

He had OP for like 4 years.

Aaron seems to get judged a lot more harshly than other players that have been injured for the majority of their early career.

Harper gets his balls sucked something fierce on here and hes shown about as much as Aaron has.

I agree and reckon we might see " Black Harper down" appear during the delist/trade period.

Trading Black would be fair enough, but reading between the lines I think Black might be Freo's plan C or D.

I would only trade him for draft picks (eg. 1st rounder) which we could ontrade for a Hannebury or Treloar.

Wouldn't trade him for a player.
