I get the sense with Anderson that due to injury his market value would be low but his value to your club is relatively high, as he seems highly rated. It would probably take a big offer and I'm not sure we will have much to give, so it's hard to see any deal getting done even if we could talk him into it. I presume he is under contract?

We'll have to be at our absolute best in the next few years. Extremely tough period of transition, rebuilding while exiting the current day legends respectfully. It's no secret to anyone we'll be rebuilding soon and that makes it hard to attract the players we have up to this point. Realistically even chipper took a big risk punting on the fact we'd become the GOAT to get his flag. To the draft it is!
Out of curiosity what does GOAT mean??

You're right, it's virtually impossible for Collingwood to get both Aish and Trelor
They same way I wonder if it's possible for for Freo to get both Bennell and Cameron, if both are requiring 1st rd picks from this year.

Both clubs seem to have played their hands a little early.

Back on Aish .... so Brissy wants to play hardball with him, or is it more than a little bit of payback and torment for the Pies over how Beams was handled last year? If the negotiation sour with the Pies (and it will if Baulme keeps opening his fat trap), the other likely destination would be the Blues. If the Hawks could pipe up with a not so insulting offer so the Lions don't lose everything, and well, Aish doesn't have to suffer that particular fate of going to the Visy bin. Still a chance?

Thanks.

This seems rather impetuous to me. He is a head strong lad, and it is a shame he can't appreciate how the club has bent over backwards to support him. He came back from injury this year- i think he did well in context. If he thinks he deserves senior opportunities before he has cemented them- then perhaps he should move. Afl footy isnt easy anywhere. Disappointing to read. Hope he has a change of heart and perseveres.

I knew this was coming re- Jed. I said as much a few weeks ago that I don't like the smell of this at all!! Clarko has already said he is one of a few that will get games next year ffs!!! This is absolutely awful imo. A ready made inside mid that kicks goals and takes overhead marks don't come around too often and now, our most prized youngster is leaving.

Hi guys

Mark Bickley said on 5aa last week that the Crows were sniffing around Jed.

Without knowing a whole lot about the kid, what do you think the club would realistically expect to receive for him?

He is a contracted player that is required and that the senior coach wants to play. It is simply a matter of how much is he worth to you? At the end of the day Wright doesn't have to trade and won't if the deal isn't right. So it would have to be an amazing deal. Eg- good young player for good young player. At a minimum.
