We have won a lot more brown lows than some sides. I reckon the voting seems ok. Petracca and wright probably the surprising lower votes

He meant them being able to grab a top 3 pick after finishing top 4 which I agree is apalling. Top ten should be unavailable to academy picks.

Well, hard to know with Gresh. Could be very easy if you can actually get a hand on him. Someone will touch him one day. And Acres can be tackled, you just get pushed aside or spun away from.

Instead of academys the afl could set up a league similar to tac and everyone just goes into the draft.

Allowing clubs to groom players from 13 yo then get them at a discount is a crock of s**t. Including father sons.

To say heeney or mills would have never played afl without academys is just an excuse to keep the swans on top.

Don't know tbh, maybe 10+ years ago but times have changed and i think it would work well. Obviously not as many teams but they'd still spot the elite kids and they'd get drafted.
