Honestly, baffled at the need to ridicule PT over this thread. He made it perfectly clear in the OP that if you don't think he's legit then just don't read.

For mine, the accuracy of his info is really not important. He stuff he comes out with sparks conversation and a bit of excitement in what's otherwise a dull time of the year with Collingwood not playing finals. The abuse/ridicule is unwarranted, but unsurprising given who it's coming from.

Yep. It is silly season. Rumours flying everywhere. Some weird and wonderful, some obvious. And who knows what Gubby's presence will do to the recruiting compared to last years.
Patterns and themes will emerge and we can take it from there.

DAWESOME, that's a bit of work for us and difficult to sustain. We can't police the thread constantly. Posts can also be reported. It's reasonable for people to disagree, but please avoid playing the man.

Will keep the thread open for now, but if it continues to deteriorate, we may have to close it, at least temporarily.

Haha nah like everyone on here I know bugger all about what the list management committee are actually doing. This time of year I'm a strong believer in smoke meaning fire and there's too much smoke around stinky players for my liking. From that I provide my opinion on those prospective deals.

My word is purely on the movement of the current list (roll back at some early discussions on Cloke and you'll see what I mean) and aside from a few things that will drop shortly everything is already out there. I'm not going to take people for a ride.

I was initially having a bit of a laugh with this thread, but the more I read the more disappointed I am so I'll leave with this. On Tuesday night (I think) pietime drops a bomb on the trade thread with "news" on Wright. Three days later the word from pietime completely turns around and he's not looking to get out. Coincidentally in the intervening period a poster who knows a member of Wright's family says they confirmed that he isn't interested in a move...

If people want to buy in that's cool, but he's pulling a John Edwards on them and the melts over people calling it out are laughable.

What can i say! last year we were so excited hearing the runours of us chasing Treloar,Aish even Howe.
This year with Delsanto Mayne and now Maric with all due respect to those players , but there no spring chickens anymore Wake me up! Wake me up! Tell me this years rumours are just a bad dream!
