The thread has been taken over by Kwikfix. Mods aren't doing anything because it's the off-season and no-one's around. I thought we could just give him his own Leak and Weaker thread. He has no discernment.

At least it's a fine example of the way the Internet breeds people oddly proud to be propagandists. ...That is if we assume Kwikfix is an actual person who isn't being financially coerced.

Yebiga and Procrastinator are both pro-Ruski. Procrastinator was so confusing for so long until the Russian allegations were brought up and suddenly it was obvious where his bread was buttered. As with plenty of suss posters there are also the barely active old accounts that suddenly pop in with total agreeance. But Yebiga wasn't really active pre-election, right? Although of course the Russians love all the press they're getting now, so they don't care that their propaganda is so obvious. Apparently it worked!

Lebbo is primarily a like-clicking account for a bunch of personality-less right-wingers, and was a sock-puppet account that appeared after an avatar got booted, whilst claiming Lebanese heritage. I don't buy that aspect, but occasionally he talks like an actual human so I don't think he's paid. Just a "useful idiot" as the Russians apparently put it. I wouldn't be surprised at all if some of the like-minded accounts are run by the same person. Xsess is suss.

As I said, Lebbo seems like a real person - I just think the 'Lebbo' aspect is probably not true. A lot of right-wingers use 'Leb' as a criticism because in Sydney there have been problems with Lebanese organised crime. But yeah as for the account, these days he just spends hours clicking like on right-wing stuff and not adding much else. He used to repeat the same misleading post every time I posted until I started reported him and then he did the same thing in private messages. Whoever it is, he can't take the heat, but instead of acknowledging that might be because he hasn't thought things through, he has retreats to barracking like it's football.

I come here when Sportal crashed champion. I am 30 to 40% Lebanese blood and I don't run to the mods like you do when someone questions your shillary. A very weak act indeed.

Probably because I'm left but against the SJW left. So I feel the need to make that distinction.

It's all anectdotal... I've personally seen more bullying/harrassment coming from the left than I do the right; I suspect that since social media leans left (younger audiance). Others may not have; but still, it's there, and if you* haven't seen it then you so need to open your eyes (and perhaps mind) more.

*Not you personally, a general you. English needs a personal and impersonal collective third person term.

No but that's not what I was talking about.

As a small example, it's one thing to call someone out for posting lies. It's another thing entirely for thousands of people to aggressivley accuse Steve Martin of being a sexist because he tweeted that Carrie a fisher was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen, and she was smart too. And pressured him into deleting it.
