Have committed tipping hari-kiri this week. Fancy picking the Dogs, Gold Coast and St Kilda when you're two clear on top in your comp and on track to pocket a tidy cash prize. Very annoyed with myself.

If Saints could kick straight they'd be 4 goals up right now. Gresham x2, Bruce and Billings with big misses and also butchered the ball going forward couple times. Weideman is useless... Carlisle did whatever he wanted that quarter.

Very good chance for the Dees to pea-heart it up here. Would be so very Melbourne to start like millionaires and then fold under pressure and get over-run, especially with so much at stake.

Jesus, just watching The Run Home and some 80 yr old bloke just rang up and ranted that the AFL changing rules to protect players is because of AFLW.

Do people still genuinely think this way?

He's 80, quite plausible that he thinks that because of a mix of senility and generational belief differences.

Gillon: "Rd 22 will henceforth be know as 'Sir Bob the Brave' round. Umpires will wear curly wigs in honour of the brave man"

Not sure of how the Mayan predictions of the world ending correlate to this but it's worth noting the metaphysical paradox presented by Round 23.

Hawthorn playing + Good Bloke Luke retiring

VS

Bulldogs playing + Saint Robert retiring

Umpires brains and groins will be under severe load trying to work through their usual decision making process for assigning free kicks. This toll may cause so much pressure at an atomic level that it triggers the beginning of the end.

Imagine if hodge knocks him out? I don't think the world is ready for such an event. It'd be like the pope KO'ing the dalai lama.
