I might be wrong but are Geelong rated similarly to non-Vic teams because they play 8 games a year at Kardinia Park where they always win?

When we are strong we are basically expected to go 11-0 at home, win the away derby if Freo are shit and then splitting our away games 50/50 is good enough for a top 4 spot. Do people look at Geelong the same way?

No, apparently having any games at our home ground is an unfair advantage based on bigfooty

Swings and roundabouts. Easy home wins, but the GF isn't played there. Etc.

I'm a firm supporter of Geelong playing 11 home games at KP if they want to.

Geelong and Sydney two best teams of the past 15 years, Hawks aside.

Hoping for GF match up.

Who are these criminals? How are they doing it? Do you have anything other than your bitter, twisted tin-foil view of the world to substantiate your claims?

Frank Costa and his mafia goons. Doesn't take a genius to work out that they pull strings at AFL house. The government pull strings at AFL house too as they don't want the city of Geelong ending up the same as the city of Detroit.

Zac Tuohy, a decent but not elite defender, and an untried 18-year-old taken at 26.

Zac Tuohy is an elite superstar and the best half back flanker in the league. Just ask those over on the Geelong board.

Brandan Parfitt is the greatest thing since sliced bread according to those on the Geelong board.

Yeah it's just a continual rort.

Geelong telling Gary Ablett to fake his hamstring injuries in order to drive down his trade value is the latest chapter in Geelong's continual rort of the AFL system.

I suppose Costa put a major hit on Ablett's f***ing shoulders too.

Not as big as the one needed to knock the chip off yours though I'm guessing.

I was clearly referring to his supposed hamstring injuries. I never mentioned anything about his shoulder injuries at all.

Also good on Gold Coast for sticking up for themselves and responding by inflating Gary Ablett's best and fairest votes.

REALLY, WERE YOU REALLY? Wow!!!! When you mentioned hamstrings I didn't realise you were talking about hamstrings. Thanks for that revealing insight into your post.

When I used the word 'too' after mentioning his shoulders, I'd have assumed that might give away the fact that I had read your hamstring comment and was adding to the notion that you'd raised. This:

'Yes, and I suppose IN ADDITION TO HIS HAMSTRING EXCUSE his shoulder problems were also a consequence of alleged (by you) criminal Frank Costa as part of a broad conspiracy to bring a 33-year-old into a football team.'

You really shouldn't have brought up his shoulder injuries in the first place, given that everyone knows that it's a completely separate issue, given that Brent Macaffer's tackle back is what caused the injury, not to mention that it was way back in 2014. At the time the Suns were finals bound and Gary Ablett going back to Geelong wasn't even a thought in anyone's mind.

Please tell me that you think his hamstring issues are legitimate and that Gold Coast didn't rig the best and fairest votes to ensure Ablett won despite playing only 14 games this year. I would love to hear it.

Also I suppose that if you don't think Frank Costa is a criminal, then you don't think Richard Pratt was a criminal either?

I think his hamstring issues are legitimate and based on the fact that in 12 of his 14 matches, he was his team's best player, so too was his best and fairest award. I have little doubt that he will post somewhere around 20 Brownlow votes.

I don't know whether Costa is a criminal or not.

I am a former sports journalist from central nsw not a crime reporter from Geelong.

What I do know is that no matter how much dirty money he may or may not have accrued, his level of thievery will never equal the amount of oxygen you've been stealing of late.

He didn't have much trouble running from the cameras for someone with a hamstring injury.

Also if you think I'm a thief, then what are you going to do about it?

Buy a tank and breathe from that I guess.

Running from the cameras? What, he was going at 32km/h or whatever the standard midfield sprint speed is, was he?

Incidentally, I'm curious to see what your stance is on Adelaide fans with a criminal record buying memberships - and therefore making the Crows a partially criminally funded club.

2 wins - 9 losses in the finals since 2012 under Selwood as captain.

They really haven't won many more finals than Carlton since 2011.

"Team of the decade" apparently

I know you're trying to rub it in but it isn't his fault ffs. They're a 2 man team and the rest are just spuds. Coach isn't very bright either.

That record could've easily been 2 wins - 10 losses if Smith knew how to kick for goal after the siren. :(

And yes, Selwood's been good himself. The same can't be said about the rest of his teammates excluding Dangerfield.

You mean one win ten losses?

Trolling - B+
Maths - F

I think the reign is over for Geelong. How much longer can they continue to attract senior players when they're playing like this in finals and not finishing the job? There are only two genuine game changers on that list and that just isn't enough to win premierships.
