How is Steve Motlop not considered one of the best players in the competition?

Head over to the Geelong board and you will see he's not their favourite player these days. I think the general consensus is he doesn't work hard enough and plays an inconsistent brand of footy.

He's been goood in all Geelongs three finals this year.

On pure talent alone he would be up there with the very best. Same with almost every other Motlop that has played.

Unfortunately the difference between his best and worst is far between and each week could see one or the other. Same with almost every other Motlop that has played.

I think Motlop made his own space and time against you (and Adelaide). He was superb.
