Tony Manero lights up the dance floor in Saturday Night Fever.
IMHO, one of the greatest movie scenes of all time.
What I've read on it is that it took John Travolta 9 months to nail it and then it ended up on the cutting room floor before being put back in.

I was in the Navy when this was released and went and saw it with a few S.A.S. members. This opening scene of the beach landings at Normandy made me sweat.
The rest of the movie I found pretty ho-hum, but this opening was unforgettable.

I love the scenes from 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' where Larry David and/or Jeff annoy Susie, and she absolutely blasts them with her shrill voice and extremely graphic language.
My personal favorite was the one where Larry and Jeff remove the head of one of Sammy's dolls to repair an identical doll that Larry damaged, but fail to hide the headless doll correctly, traumatizing the little girl. When Larry and Jeff return, they find Susie waiting for them and quickly find out she is not at all happy about what happened.
