IMO he'll never be a one on one defender. He isnt fast nor is he Strong. He is tall and reads the play to perfection.

If there are two things that kill him, it's playing as a lockdown defender and being honest.

If Gibbs helps us win a premiership this year, and Fog and Doedee are instrumental to us contending in their prime, then it is. But all of those you mentioned are better at the moment.

Not sure about the first part of that happening yet, but there’s a big chance the second part does, I reckon
